Drug & alcohol recovery coaching.
A drug and alcohol recovery coach is a peer guide who supports your sobriety day to day, alongside treatment, therapy or meetings, not instead of them. I've been clean and sober since February 28, 2013, and I coach men through early sobriety and the long haul after it.
Signs it's more than a habit.
- You use more, or longer, than you meant to
- You've tried to cut down and couldn't
- It's costing you work, family or health
- You need more to get the same effect
- You feel sick or on edge when you stop
- You're sober but white-knuckling it alone
If three or more of these hit home, it's worth a conversation. This isn't a diagnosis, just a gut check.
What we work on.
- 01Day-to-day support in early sobriety
- 02A plan for cravings, triggers and high-risk situations
- 03Help connecting with treatment, meetings or therapy
- 04Accountability and honest check-ins
- 05Building a life worth staying sober for
Safety first: If you're physically dependent on alcohol, benzodiazepines or opioids, talk to a doctor before you stop. Withdrawal can be dangerous, and medical detox may be the safest first step.

Do I need to be sober already to start?
No. Some men come to me sober, some are trying to get there. We start wherever you are.
Does coaching replace rehab, therapy or 12-step meetings?
No. Coaching is peer support. It works alongside treatment, therapy and meetings, and I'll help you find and stick with them.
Is it safe to quit on my own?
Not always. Stopping alcohol, benzodiazepines or opioids suddenly can be medically dangerous. Talk to a doctor first. I'll support you through it.
